Can you build a 40-person company with only 3 humans?
In 2020, the answer was no. In 2026, it’s not only possible—it’s the new standard for "vibecoders" and technical founders.
I recently sat down with Jonathan Martinez, the founder of Growth Pair. Jonathan isn't just a theorist; he led growth at Uber, Postmates, and Coinbase. He’s seen what "scale" looks like with massive teams.
But today? He’s doing double the revenue of his previous venture with 80% less headcount.
The Secret Sauce behind GrowthPair’s massive Growth:
His secret isn't working 100-hour weeks. It’s weaponizing AI to act as his C-Suite, his creative agency, and his sales analyst.
Here are the 5 raw, no-BS tactics Jonathan dropped in our interview that you can deploy today.
1. The "AI War Room" Simulation
Most founders use ChatGPT like a glorified Google Search. They ask a question, get an answer.
Jonathan builds organizations.
He uses "Projects" (in Claude or ChatGPT) to simulate a full team of experts. He doesn't just have one chat; he creates distinct personas with specific instructions:
The Analyst: Skeptical, data-driven, risk-averse.
The Creative: Brand-focused, big picture, expensive taste.
The Growth Hacker: Obsessed with speed and loops.
The Tactic: When he has a strategic problem, he doesn't try to solve it alone. He drops the prompt into his "War Room" and asks the personas to debate.
"The agent effectively became my COO, my general counsel, my CFO... I'm chatting with a team that doesn't exist."
Action Step: Create a Project. Upload your brand values and financial constraints. Define 3-5 roles. Next time you have a dilemma, ask: "Simulate a meeting between the CFO and CMO regarding this budget. Output the transcript of their argument."
2. The "Google Pomelli" AI Creative Hack
If you’re a technical founder, you probably hate making ad creative. You know you need it, but opening Figma feels like pulling teeth.
Enter Google Pomelli.
This is Google’s new AI-powered creative tool (a Labs experiment) that is effectively a "designer in a box."
How it works:
Input: You paste your website URL.
Scrape: It extracts your "Business DNA"—your hex codes, fonts, logo, and tone.
Generate: It spits out fully formed display ads, social posts, and copy.
Why it matters: The ad platforms (Meta/Google) have automated targeting. The only lever you have left is Creative Strategy. By using Pomelli, you can generate 50 variations in the time it takes a human to make one.
Action Step: Stop manually resizing images. Run your URL through Pomelli, generate a batch of 20 assets, and launch a campaign this week.
3. The AI Sales Call "Brain"
Your sales calls are a goldmine of data, but your brain is a leaky bucket. You forget the specific objection prospect #4 gave you three weeks ago.
Jonathan’s fix? Vertical AI Stacking.
He doesn't sprinkle data across 10 tools. He funnels 100% of his sales transcripts (from Fathom or Otter) into a single Custom GPT.
The Tactic: He treats this GPT as his "Sales VP." He queries it for insights that are impossible to spot in the moment:
"What is the most common objection regarding our pricing tier?"
"Compare my talk-time ratio in closed-won vs. closed-lost deals."
"Draft a new email sequence based on the pain points mentioned in the last 10 calls."
4. The AI Content Pipeline
Writing high-quality "Thought Leadership" is hard. It takes hours of staring at a blinking cursor.
Jonathan’s hack? Never write from scratch.
He uses the "SME Interview" model.
Record: Get a Subject Matter Expert (or yourself) on a 30-minute Zoom. Rant about a specific topic.
Transcribe: Get the raw text.
Process: Feed it to a Custom GPT that has been trained specifically on his company’s "Playbook" formatting and style.
The Result: A polished, branded PDF or blog post that sounds exactly like him, created in minutes.
Action Step: Build a "Style Guide" GPT. Upload your best 5 blog posts as "knowledge." Instruct it: "You are an editor. Rewrite this transcript using the tone and structure of the uploaded examples."
5. The "90/10" Rule of Delegation
The biggest mistake vibecoders make is trying to automate 100% of the work.
When you try to get AI to do everything, you get generic, robotic trash. (We've all seen those "Delve into the landscape" LinkedIn posts).
Jonathan lives by the 90/10 Rule:
5% (Human): The Prompt. You set the strategy, the context, and the goal.
90% (AI): The Execution. The drafting, the scraping, the summarizing.
5% (Human): The Polish. The final edit. The human touch.
"The first 5% is just me knowing what to prompt... the next 90% is AI... and the last 5% is knowing how the output should look."

These 5 hacks are just the tip of the iceberg. In the full interview, Jonathan breaks down exactly how he uses offshore talent + AI to lower payroll by 80% while doubling revenue.
The cost of building has gone to zero, and the only remaining moat in business is distribution. The best way to learn distribution is from the most successful Founders and Marketers on the front lines. Every week, I interview world-class Founders and Marketers to learn about the strategies, tactics, and tools they’re using to power their growth. I publish these interviews for free on the Evergrow YouTube channel and Newsletter.
Till next week,
